The .45 caliber muzzleloader barrel conversion kit allows you to turn your Serpent Arms 28 gauge Air Shotgun into a muzzleloading .45 caliber airgun. Similar to our .45 caliber rifle barrel but with the breech closed off, so that it meets legal muzzleloading regulations in most states. (Check your own local regulations regarding Muzzleloader requirements.) The conversion kit includes a 30" rifled barrel with handguard, valve stem collar, magnetic small screwdriver, and collapsible pushrod. 
 
*Simply unscrew the set screw hidden under front picatinny rail bolt, Unscrew air shotgun smooth bore barrel assembly, screw on muzzleloader rifle barrel assembly, tighten set screw, and reattach front picatinny bolt. To attach valve stem collar, take off air tank, screw together valve stem collar onto small stem of air tank valve, and put the air tank back onto the airgun.
 
*We recommend a 4,100 psi air tank pressure with .452 caliber 200 grain lead slugs for best accuracy. This combination will allow for an average of over 800 fps for a 3 shot string before needing to refill your air tank.
 
* Most .45-.452 caliber lead bullets will work for the air rifle kit but performance and accuracy can be variable.
